You work at the heart of our datacenter infrastructure and continue developing the technical foundation of the TakeASP Cloud. You actively help shape the architecture and make technical decisions on your own responsibility. Maintenance windows are predictable, and on-call duty is fairly compensated.

We are a specialized IT service provider for SAP Basis, SAP Cloud, SAP Security, IT Security and hosting, headquartered in Würzburg, Germany. While our consultants look after customer landscapes, our infrastructure team provides a stable, modern foundation in the datacenter.
Your Responsibilities
- SAN & storage: Operation and further development of the Fibre Channel infrastructure and storage architecture based on IBM FlashSystem and SVC
- Virtualization: Administration and optimization of the VMware-based cloud infrastructure
- Technology evaluation: Implementation of modern concepts such as NVMe over Fibre Channel (FC-NVMe), RoCE or HCI solutions
- Data protection: Planning and implementation of backup and recovery strategies for hosting operations
- Performance: Analysis and optimization of the infrastructure for high-performance workloads such as in-memory databases
- Documentation: Structured maintenance of system documentation
Your Profile
- Completed IT vocational training, degree or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
- Solid hands-on experience operating SAN and Fibre Channel architectures
- Solid skills with IBM storage solutions and VMware environments
- Good understanding of network architectures (Layer 2/3, routing, switching, VLAN)
- Team player, open to constructive collaboration
- German at least C1, English at least B1 for vendor support
